Dar es Salaam, TanzaniaCoca-Cola Kwanza has been recognised for its outstanding quality, innovation, and market leadership at the Best Brand Awards Africa 2025 – East Africa Edition, affirming its position as one of the region’s most impactful and influential brands.

The award was presented during a ceremony held on 21 September at the Mlimani City International Conference Centre in Dar es Salaam.

Coca-Cola Kwanza, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, received a trophy and plaque in recognition of the brand’s exceptional leadership and excellence.

Commenting on the achievement, General Manager for Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd, David Chait, said: “CCBA inspires excellence and sets the standard as Africa’s most respected and admired company, fostering growth, innovation, and impact across the continent. These awards reaffirm our mission of creating shared value for our business, our people, and our communities.”

Best Brand Africa is an independent people-led survey with branding experts that seek to establish brand preferences across the continent. This year’s research was conducted in eight East African countries and economic regions in Africa – which collectively account for more than 85% of the continent’s population and GDP.

It is the most comprehensive survey on brands in Africa.

The research, conducted annually by Best Brand Africa and its international expert partners, evaluated over 12,000 strong brands, of which only 1,500 – representing just 12.5% – qualified as Best Brands. The study was carried out independently from June 2024 to June 2025.
