Based in the capital, Gaborone, CCBA’s Botswana subsidiary, which trades as Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana (CCBB), offers improved service and accelerated innovation for both the formal and informal markets.
At the end of 2018, CCBA acquired 50.1% of the soft drinks business, Beverage Manufacturers (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd, that now trades as Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana (CCBB). The balance of 49.9% is owned by Sechaba Brewery Holdings Limited.
In October 2019, CCBB expanded its operation by investing in and restoring their canning and RGB lines, CCBB unveiled a state-of-the-art PET production line and water treatment plant, representing a total investment of P310 million (USD24.4m) in May 2023.
CCBB has been recognised as a Top Employer for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute.
