In one of East Africa’s largest-ever private equity investments, CCBA acquired 100% shareholding in Nairobi Bottlers Limited (NBL) in October 2019.
CCBA’s 100% shareholding in NBL is a result of its acquisition of majority shares in Almasi Beverages Limited (53.9%) and increasing its shareholding in Nairobi Bottlers Limited (NBL) by 27.6%.
Under the leadership of James Bowmaker, the Managing Director for Kenya, the country’s businesses include NBL, Almasi Beverages, Equator Bottlers and Crown Beverages.
