With more than 30 years serving the country, Coca-Cola Sabco Mozambique (CCSM) is a subsidiary of CCBA.
In 2016, CCSM, increased its capacity in the south of the country by constructing a green field world-class bottling facility in Matola Gare near Maputo, costing $110m. The inauguration of the site was attended by Mozambique’s President, Filipe Nyusi, who acknowledged CCBA’s investment in job creation and the growth of skills in Mozambique.
Mozambique was included in the CCBA Southern Africa Region in 2019 under the leadership of Basil Gadzios.

This year, Coca-Cola SABCO Mozambique (CCSM) is proudly celebrating three decades in the country. CCSM, a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), commenced operations at its first factory on 25 May 1994 in Machava, Maputo province. This marked the beginning of Coca-Cola production in Mozambique.
