Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia (CCBZ) became a subsidiary of CCBA in 2018.
In December 2018, CCBA acquired the soft drinks business of Zambian Breweries Plc (Zambrew). At the time of the acquisition, the soft drinks business of Zambrew was transferred to Kalundu Beverages Limited, trading as Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia (CCBZ). CCBZ is now a fully owned subsidiary of CCBA.
In February 2019, CCBA expanded its presence in Zambia with the introduction of a water brand, AquaSavana, through the acquisition of Fairy Bottling Zambia Limited.
Zambia is part of the Southern Africa Region under the leadership of Basil Gadzios.
