Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions“) apply to the “PREDATOR STAND A CHANCE TO WIN A CHELSEA FC EXPERIENCE IN LONDON” (“the Promotion“) and by participating in the same, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted the same Organisation, Duration, Eligibility and Entry

  1. Promoter: The Promotion is organised by Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Limited.

  2. Participant/s: A person who enters, competes in or is otherwise eligible to win this Promotional Competition.

  3. Eligibility: Participation in the Promotion is open to all consumers who are residents of Uganda and have attained the age of eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. The Promoters shall ensure that eligibility criteria are reasonable, clearly disclosed, and do not unfairly discriminate against any consumer in accordance with the Uganda Consumer Protection Act.

    *All employees, contractors, and immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, children, and household members) of the Promoter including their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, and any other supplier or third party involved in the development, facilitation or execution of this Promotion and their immediate families and dependants shall not be eligible to participate in this Promotion

  1. To enter the Promotion, participants must:

    • Purchase a Predator 350ml PET bottle with a white bottle cap*.

    • Check under the closure for the alphanumeric unique code and send via SMS to short code 6688 to enter the draw.

*Please note that only white bottle caps qualify for the Promotion.

  1. The Promotion will run from 2nd April 2026 up to 15 June 2026. 

Prizes

  1. Participants stand a chance to win the following prizes: 

    • Daily Airtime worth approx. UGX 400M ($110K) in the (UGX 1000, 2000, 5000 & 10,000) denominations.

    • Weekly Prizes: 15 Motor Bikes with a total combined value of approximately $22,000*.

    • Grand Prize: 5 winners (5 winners + 5 guests) will win a trip to London, UK, to watch a Chelsea FC match at Stamford Bridge (“Trip”).
      * Weekly prizes shall be awarded from Week 1, April 2026.

Identification of winners and prize disbursement

  1. Airtime winners will receive their airtime through third-party fulfilment within a maximum of 48 hours of official notification of the win from start of competition until the last day, or until UGX 400m has been given away, whichever is earlier.

  2. Motor Bikes will be awarded through a weekly random draw under the supervision of National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (“NLGRB”). The First Draw will be done the 2nd week of April 2026 until the 2nd Week of June 2026 . Before issuance of the Motor bike the winner will be required to sign a release form that indicates transfer of the asset and liability that comes with the Motor bike and a disclaimer in favour of Monster Energy Europe Limited and its affiliates.

  3. To redeem the Grand Prize Trip, the winner will be required to provide their national ID linked to the winning cell number for verification and to sign a disclaimer in favour of Monster Energy Europe Limited and its affiliates regarding the Trip. The Grand Prize will be awarded via a random draw under the supervision of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) & Blue Cube Ltd. The First Draw for the Grand Prize will be done on the 2nd week of April 2026 week and the last draw to be carried on the 2nd Week of June 2026 post promo closure as required that Prizes cannot be exhausted as long as the promo is still on. 

  4. The 2 winners of the Grand Prize (+ their guests) will also be required to present a Valid Passport within 48hrs before winner announcement is done.

  5. Redemption of the Trip will only be done upon receipt of United Kingdom Visa to the Announced winner with their + one and can only be done via a Trip and no other form of redemption will be extended. The Cost of the Visa will be borne by the Promoter.

  6. Subject at all times to clause 22 below, the 2 winners (+ their guests) of Grand Prize shall win a trip to London – United Kingdom to watch a match at Stamford Bridge, including tickets plus economy travel costs to and from London. Accommodation & meals will be issued to each winner as determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion and any additional costs incurred by the winner during the trip in London – United Kingdom will not be borne by the Promoter. 

  7. If there are any taxes applicable to the Prizes, the Promoter will deduct the tax and remit it to the relevant authority as is required by law. 

  8. Entry and participation in the Promotion constitutes entrant’s consent for the Promoter and their designees to use entrant’s name, image, prize information, likeness, and county of residence in the marketing activities related to the Promotion in any media without further consideration for the duration of the campaign and 90 Days after conclusion of the same.
    Promoter will process personal data in compliance with the Uganda Data Protection and Privacy Act and the Uganda Consumer Protection Act. Participants’ data will be used solely for Promotion administration and marketing communications with consent. In case of a data breach, Promoter will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities promptly.

General rules of the promotion

  1. All Prizes must be claimed within the period of the Promotion, subject to clause 4 of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter in consultation with the NLGRB maintain the discretion to select an alternate participant from the draws if a winner fails to claim their prize or is otherwise unable to claim the prize. 

  2. The Promoter in consultation with the NLGRB reserve the right to re-draw the Grand Prize, if there have been at least 3 unsuccessful attempts to reach the winner through the participating cell phone number.

  3. The Promoter in consultation with the NLGRB may nullify any prize to any participant in the event of fraud, dishonesty or non-eligibility under these Terms and Conditions.

  4. The Promotor in consultation with the NLGRB reserve the right to amend and adjust the Promotion format and timings as they deem fit and shall communicate the same as necessary.

  5. The Promoter shall maintain records of all draws and make them available for inspection by NLGRB upon request.

  6. Although the Promoters have used reasonable efforts to ensure that all information and materials relating to the Promotion are accurate, they shall not be liable for any inaccuracy or errors in such information and/or material. The Promoter, Monster Energy Europe Limited their agents and sub-contractors will also not bear responsibility for any loss or damage to a participant, whether caused by self or any third party, arising from matters outside the control of the Promoter, its agents and sub-contractors including but not limited to force majeure events such as acts of God, computer viruses, power outages; lockdowns, epidemics/pandemics etc.

  7. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event of unforeseen circumstances or the Promoter or Monster Energy Europe Limited being unable to deliver a prize (including without limitation a grand prize) for any reason, the Promoter or Monster Energy Europe Limited in consultation with the NLGRB reserves the right to replace the entire prize or prize components with prizes of equal or greater value.

Release and Limitations of Liability: Except where prohibited, by participating in the Promotion, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Promoter, Monster Energy Europe Limited, PwC, Bluecube Ltd, Exp Momentum, Golden marketing Uganda (its affiliates) NLGRB and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotional partners, prize partners, agents and agencies, and the officers, directors and employees of each of them (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) failure to award any component of a prize due to the occurrence of any public health emergency; or (b) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Promotion or receipt, use or misuse of any prize.  Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the Promotion and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees.  Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.  

  10. By entering the Promotion, all participants and winners agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions which will be subject to interpretation by the Promoters and the NLGRB, whose interpretation shall be final and binding. 

  11. The Promoter reserve the right to amend, modify or change these rules at any time during the Promotion and/or to terminate the Promotion entirely, which amendment, modification, termination or change of these rules or of the Promotion shall be subject to consultation with NLGRB. 

  12. Data Protection: In order to facilitate the Promotion and for marketing communications, the Promoter may process personal information relating to identified or identifiable natural persons, i.e. personal data, who participate in the Promotion. The Promoter will process this personal data in accordance with data protection requirements under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 and related regulations in Uganda. or inquiries, contact our Data Protection Officer at mcain@ccbagroup.com.

  13. All participants further warrant and represent that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound thereby. 

  14. This Promotion is governed by the Laws of the Republic of Uganda and remains subject to the Lotteries and Gaming Act, 2016 and any applicable regulations 

  15. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or in part, the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid. 

  16. We uphold consumer rights as provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You are entitled to accurate information, safe products, fair treatment, and remedies for defective goods or services. For complaints or redress, please contact CCBA customer Helpline 0312236500

  17. CAUTION: The Promoter does not require participants to send cash, airtime credit or other consideration to receive any of the prizes and will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred by any person who fails to pay heed to this notification.
