Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Namibia launches new locally produced Cappy Delight fruit juice

A new locally produced juice brand will be hitting the shelves in Namibia after the installation of a state-of-the-art production line at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa’s (CCBA) Windhoek Bottling Plant.

The company invested in the production line as part of plans to expand its product portfolio.

“It is becoming an increasing priority for us to be innovative and increase our portfolio of beverages in the market to include categories that do not currently exist,” said Pottie de Bruyn, general manager of CCBA in Namibia.

“We are proud to announce that we will be launching our new locally produced juice brand, Cappy Delight, a 10% fruit juice with a variety of flavours.”

Cappy Delight comes in Guava, Mango and Tropical flavours, available in 500ml PET bottles to create the perfect family sharing breakfast occasion at home.

“We are witnessing a trend in which the entire fruit juice and sports drink segment is growing globally as consumer tastes and preferences shift,” said de Bruyn.

“People everywhere want new beverages and experiences throughout their day and CCBA Namibia is innovating to give people more of what they want while actively encouraging informed choices and balanced lifestyles.

“In some cases, that means adding vitamins and minerals or rethinking our recipes to reduce sugar while keeping the great tastes people love. In others, it means finding more sophisticated, exciting flavours. We’re also focused on different beverages, and the launch of Cappy Delight is part of this evolution to become a total beverage company.

“This great tasting locally produced juice will be your go-to juice every morning, every day.”

Cappy Delight can be found in select top-end grocery stores across the country at a recommended selling price of N$12.00.
