Lusaka, Zambia – Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia (CCBZ) handed out over K1.8 million in prizes to customers as part of its CCBZ Distributor Tuk-Tuk Challenge held in Lusaka, today.
The Tuktuk Challenge was open to all qualifying distributors of CCBZ products and used product sales data analysis to reward distributor businesses that drive growth and ensure that a cold drink is always within arm’s reach across Zambia. A total of 10 Tuk-Tuk delivery vehicles and five truckloads of soft drink products were awarded to distribution partners that achieved high scores in volume, delivery and display criteria.
“For Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA), partnering with customers for growth means deeply understanding and prioritising the needs of customers and end consumers by delivering value beyond just selling beverages. This aligns with our goal of being the most consumer-centric, customer-driven, and admired beverage company in Africa,” explained Josphat Mwangi, General Manager of CCBZ, a company in the CCBA group.
“The Tuktuk Challenge gave our high-performing distributors the opportunity to grow their business with an additional delivery vehicle or extra stock. It aimed to inspire them to deliver customer-centric execution through ensuring product availability at the right time, place, and price, leveraging data and analytics to anticipate our retail customers’ demand and preferences.
“It is also about delivering value beyond the product by providing best-in-class service and helping customers to grow their businesses through insights, promotions, and tailored support. For us, this is customer centricity.
“By doing this, we forge unbreakable partnerships with our customers, from top-end grocery, and local trade, to wholesale and on-premise outlets, through flawless execution and dependability,” concludes Mwangi.
