Unleash the beast: Monster Energy returns to Botswana with two new flavours

Gaborone, Botswana  – Monster Energy is officially back in the Botswana market after a year-long break – and it’s bigger, bolder and more beastly than ever. The iconic energy drink has returned with two exciting new flavours: Monster Zero and Aussie Lemonade, and the affordable brand, Predator, giving Batswana even more ways to Unleash the Beast.

The high energy re-launch for retailers, hosted by Monster Energy and Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana (CCBB), took place at Fairground Holdings in Gaborone. It featured a thrilling car-spinning demonstration, a dynamic performance by a local dance crew, interactive games and a photo booth for attendees to capture the moment.

Moabi Pusumane, Commercial Director for CCBB, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, announced a major consumer promotion for Monster that’s set to energise the market:

“From November to December 2025, every time you buy any two Monster Energy drinks, you’ll be automatically entered into a draw to win a brand-new Suzuki Jimny. It’s our way of rewarding fans for choosing Monster.” More exciting promotions are set for 2026.

Flora Jika, General Manager of CCBB, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to making Monster and Predator available across the country.

“We aim to bring Monster and Predator to every corner of Botswana – whether you’re in a city, town or village, you’ll be able to grab your favourite flavour.”

With bold flavours, big prizes, and even bigger energy, Monster and Predator are ready to take Botswana by storm.

Grab yours. Unleash the Beast.
