Gaborone, Botswana – Coca-Cola received the prestigious accolade of #1 Non-Alcoholic Beverage at the 15th Brand Africa 100, Botswana’s Best Brands awards ceremony, at Phakalane Golf Estate in Gaborone last night.
The Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana (CCBB) team were at the function to receive the award on behalf of The Coca-Cola Company. The award is based on the results of an independent research-based study on Africa’s most admired brands.
The rankings are based on a comprehensive survey of African consumers aged 18 and above, conducted across 30+ countries representing over 85% of the continent’s population and GDP.

Brand Africa 100 | Africa’s Best Brands, launched in 2011, is one of the continent’s longest-running research-based studies that ranks Africa’s most admired brands.
The research is independently conducted by GeoPoll and Kantar, with strategic insights and rankings led by Kantar and Brand Leadership, Africa’s leading brand advisory firm, and supported by regional experts across the continent.
