Entrepreneurs sharpen their business skills with support from Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana

Gaborone, Botswana – A group of almost 800 entrepreneurs, including women, youth and people with disabilities, took part in educational workshops organised by Coca-Cola Beverages Botswana (CCBB) aimed at enhancing their business skills and helping them to grow their businesses.

CCBB, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, invested approximately USD $64,000 in the training.

The training was held in Lobatse, Serowe, Maun, Francistown and Goodhope in February and March 2025, and provided essential skills in management, goal setting and fundamental business startup principles. The primary objective of the workshops was to help address the economic challenges faced by participants and enhance their financial literacy.

“Our actions aim to help improve people’s lives, whether it’s for our employees, those connected to our business, or the communities we call home,” said Mandisi Ziga, Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director of CCBB.

“People are at the heart of everything we do. Through community involvement we are able to bring positive, measurable change to the communities in which we operate and to our business. Each one of us can make a big difference for a better shared future,” Ziga said.

“We remain committed to helping create shared value for our business and the communities we serve,” Ziga concluded.
