CCBA honours 129 long‑serving employees, underscoring a culture that retains and grows talent

Windhoek, Namibia – Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in Namibia has honoured 129 longserving employees at its 2026 Long Service Awards – the highest number recognised since 2022. This milestone reflects the company’s strong culture of attracting, developing and retaining high-performing talent, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

A standout moment of the 2026 ceremony was the group of 11 employees who marked between 20 and 30 years of continuous service – a testament to the deep experience, loyalty and institutional knowledge that continue to anchor CCBA’s success.

The largest cohort of honourees were the 15year recipients, representing 67% of all awardees, followed by those marking 10 years of service at 19%. Since 2022, the number of longservice recognitions has remained consistently strong – with 84 employees honoured in 2022, 73 in 2023, 82 in 2024, 129 in 2025 – and the latest figure once again highlights CCBA’s sustained employee tenure and engagement.

“As CCBA in Namibia hosts its 2026 Long Service Awards, the event stands not only as a moment of personal recognition for dedicated employees, but also as a celebration of a resilient, capable workforce that underpins the company’s continued growth and its ambition to be Africa’s most admired company,” said Ockert Jansen, Director: Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability at CCBA in Namibia.

“CCBA in Namibia continues to invest in developing skills to establish a sustainable pipeline of talent to meet our own future needs and those of the countries where we have a footprint.

“We believe it starts with nurturing and retaining the skills we already have, while driving improvements in our high-performance culture,” he added.

“At CCBA, we are committed to your unparalleled professional growth, providing an exciting journey of learning and development within a passionate, caring team. We thrive on delivering beloved Coke brands, making a positive impact on communities, and achieving market success together.”

The 2026 Long Service Awards reaffirm the company’s commitment to building an environment where employees feel equipped, supported and motivated to excel – reflected in the long tenure celebrated this year.

“Our valued employees are empowered to become the best version of themselves within CCBA as they embark on an adventure of growth. We offer an environment filled with opportunities for continuous learning, personal growth, and career advancement,” said Grazia van Rooi, People and Culture Director at CCBA Namibia.
