Coca-Cola launches “Coke with Meals” campaign celebrating the magic of shared meals and meaningful moments in Mozambique

Maputo, Mozambique – CocaCola has officially launched its ‘Coke with Meals’ campaign in Mozambique, running from 21 February to 30 April 2026, celebrating how everyday meals and perfectly served Coca‑Cola converge to create unforgettable meal memories.

The campaign recognises that meals are where life happens every day – whether it’s lunch with friends, a quick bite between classes, street food after work, or dinner at home with family. “Coke with Meals” celebrates these tasty everyday occasions, showing how an ice-cold Coca-Cola enhances flavour, connection, and enjoyment at every meal.

For generations, Coca-Cola has been part of Mozambique’s celebrations. Now, “Coke with Meals” expands the brand’s presence beyond big occasions to everyday lunches, dinners, and street-food moments, making each meal feel like a celebration worth savouring.

“Coca-Cola believes in the magic of shared meals, especially in a world where food is a cultural phenomenon bringing friends and family to the table,” said Faith Nehanda, Senior Manager, Frontline Marketing. “Through this year’s meals campaign, we celebrate ‘A Recipe for Magic,’ highlighting incredible food, unique vibes, and the refreshing taste of an ice-cold Coca-Cola transform ordinary moments into extraordinary, shared experiences.”

Celebrating Everyday Tasty Moments

The campaign, run in partnership with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Mozambique, celebrates the two places where Mozambicans enjoy their meals most: around the family table at home, where weekend lunches and home-cooked meals bring loved ones together, and at the vibrant on-premise dining spots that define the country’s food culture, from street food vendors to local restaurants, cafeterias, and casual dining spots where communities gather and connect.

The campaign follows an urban-first strategy, targeting Gen Z consumers aged 18 to 25, including students, first-jobbers, creators, and digital natives—while maintaining strong relevance among millennials, families, and urban households. Activation will take place across Maputo, Matola, Beira, and Nampula, aligning with Mozambique’s diverse food culture and everyday dining occasions.

More Than a Campaign – A Cultural Conversation

Coke with Meals’ goes beyond traditional promotions by elevating Coca‑Cola’s connection to Mozambique’s food culture through authentic storytelling and cultural relevance. The campaign positions CocaCola as an integral part of everyday meals—familiar, accessible, and present in real life.

The campaign will come to life through digital storytelling and social media content that celebrate real meal moments with CocaCola, partnerships with food creators and chefs showcasing how CocaCola complements Mozambican cuisine, and media engagement across radio, TV, and online platforms. On-ground activations linked to everyday food occasions in local communities will bring the campaign directly to where people eat and gather, while third-party voices including media, chefs, and cultural tastemakers will authentically integrate Coca-Cola into Mozambique’s food narrative.

By bringing Coca‑Cola closer to daily meals, the brand continues to evolve from being seen purely as a refreshment for special celebrations to being a familiar companion at the table, transforming everyday meals into everyday tasty celebrations.
