Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Kenya gets closer to distributors

Nairobi, Kenya – Over 200 Official Coca-Cola Distributors (OCCDs) took part in training sessions with Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) in Kenya aimed at further improving the business experience and helping them to grow their operations.

The OCCDs provide a vital link between the beverage production facility and the retail stores where our products are sold to consumers. OCCDs contribute more than 75% of CCBA in Kenya’s business, and the working session for OCCDs in the Eldoret, Nyanza and Nairobi regions provided an opportunity to share feedback and streamline the ease of doing business.

“CCBA is a customer-obsessed, digitally enabled, growth-driven business. We strive for excellence across our value chain and partner with our customers for growth,” said CCBA in Kenya Managing Director, James Bowmaker.

“Our Route-to-Market strategy emphasises optimising operations with our OCCDs, ensuring smooth product movement from production to final consumption.

“We are committed to creating value and delivering exceptional service across every touchpoint of our business, and the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants in this training were truly inspiring,” Bowmaker said.

“We create value for our customers through service excellence and total customer centricity, end-to-end across our business.

“For CCBA, customer obsession means deeply understanding and prioritising the needs of customers – both retailers and end consumers – by delivering value beyond just selling beverages. It aligns with our vision of being the most consumer-centric, customer-driven, and sustainable beverage company in Africa.

“Customer obsession at CCBA means customer-centric execution through understanding the unique needs of different market segments across Africa and ensuring product availability at the right time, place, and price, leveraging data and analytics to anticipate customer demand and preferences,” Bowmaker concluded.
