Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia keeps athletes hydrated at LuWSI Run

Lusaka, Zambia – On Saturday, 19 July, Lusaka came alive as runners and walkers gathered for the LuWSI (Lusaka Water Security Initiative) Run, where Coca-Cola Beverages Zambia (CCBZ) played a key role in keeping participants hydrated throughout the morning.

Starting from EastPark Mall, the event featured a 5km walk, 5km run, 10km run, and a half marathon (21km run), drawing people together under the theme: “Run for Water, Walk for Life: Securing Zambia’s Future.”

CCBZ, a company in the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa group, sponsored a range of beverages at hydration stations along the route, helping participants stay refreshed and energised from start to finish.

“Our aim is to inspire excellence and set the standard as Africa’s most respected and admired company, fostering growth, innovation and impact across the continent in fulfilment of our vision to Refresh Africa and create shared value,” said Josphat Mwangi, General Manager for CCBZ.

“We are committed to offering people more of the drinks they want across a range of categories and sizes while driving sustainable solutions that build resilience into our business and create positive change for the planet.”
